Full time temporary position for a graduate to work as a teaching assistant in a Catholic High School on the Wirral

  • • ***Graduate teaching assistant position – Wirral
  • • ***Earn up to £300 per week and potentially secure a permanent job
  • • ***Modern secondary school with outstanding facilities throughout

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary school on the Wirral who seek to hire a graduate teaching assistant for their support team on a full time basis. The post of Graduate teaching assistant will involve working with children who are under achieving and lacking confidence in key subjects, you will mainly support in KS4 (GCSE classes of Year 10 and Year 11).

Applications are welcome from Graduates of all backgrounds, previous experience as a teaching assistant or tutor is required, if you are in the process of applying for teacher training or have a place secured for 2017/18 this opportunity to work as a graduate teaching assistant would be ideal

A voluntary-aided Roman Catholic 11-18 College (Secondary School and Sixth Form) with Academy status located in Bebington, Wirral, Merseyside. It serves the population of the Wirral and is over-subscribed in all year groups with 1450 pupils. It has received many accolades over the years including 2010/11 Times Educational Supplement ‘Outstanding Secondary School of the Year’ in addition to being awarded ‘Outstanding’ for a second successive time in 2013. It is also a National Teaching College and it was awarded the best Mathematics Dept. in the Times Supplement awards of 2013.
