Teaching personnel are currently recruiting for an English Teacher, on behalf of our client school, in time for the academic year 2018.

With an opening within the growing English department, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to join a progressive team within a continually improving school.

  • Permanent, full time English Teacher position to start ahead of the academic year 2018.
  • Mixed Comprehensive, 11-18, based in the city of Bolton.
  • Progressive role for the right candidate within a supportive leadership system.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917-£38,633)

The successful English teacher will be required to;

  • Deliver outstanding English lessons using creative methods to engage students.
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies in and outside the classroom.
  • Promote student centred learning, best suited to raise attainment.
  • Plan, prepare and monitor class work and report back to senior leadership.

This growing mixed comprehensive, with 1841 pupils on roll, aged 11-18, and has highlighted the growing improvement through out the school. With a dedicated English department, the team have continued working hard towards pupils progressing within the core subject areas. "Current Year 11 students are on track to exceed their challenging academic targets and achievement in English is very strong, students behave well in lessons and are eager to learn".

Located close to Bolton City Centre, this budding comprehensive is perfectly situated to be accessed via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Chorley. Public transport links are also readily available with the bus, tram and train station less than a few miles from the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
