Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are dedicated to providing our students with a high-quality education and fostering a love for learning. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated English Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.

Position Overview: As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their journey to become confident readers, writers, and critical thinkers. You will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, creating a positive classroom atmosphere, and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with the curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, assessments, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's academic programs.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field of education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into your lessons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Passion for teaching English and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must live in and have the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
