At a rate of £121.64 per day. Working week between Monday - Friday

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working and passionate qualified Secondary English Teacher (QTS Status) to work with pupils who range between the ages of 11-18 in the Carmarthen area.

Essential qualifications and traits;

  • You will be a qualified teacher or in the process of gaining a qualified teaching status (QTS)
  • You will be registered with the education workforce council
  • You will be able to work closely with fellow staff members and can confidently liaise with staff, pupils and parents
  • Can use effective communication when engaging with the pupils
  • The ability to teach English to GCSE/A Level standard

  • Are confident and are able to make professional and friendly working relationships with the pupils, their families and the staff.
  • Has high interpersonal skills
  • Be organised, patient and confident
  • Be able to use effective communication
  • Have a passion for English

We are looking for a compassionate and hard working individual who is flexible to commit to a long term role, starting ASAP. We are looking for a confident and positive individual who would be happy to lead a class and be able to deliver a range of learning experiences suitable for all types of pupils.

You will need to be flexible in your approach and posses sound knowledge of the curriculum. Be inspiring and use initiative and creativity when making lessons varied. You will need to possess outstanding classroom management and implement positive behaviour, which conforms to the school's guidance policy.
