Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a secondary school based in the Derby area and are currently looking to recruit an English Teacher from September. This 'Good' secondary school are seeking an experienced teacher of English on a full time basis for 1 term.

Under the guidance of the Head Teacher and Governing Trust the school is seeking to appoint a resilient team player wishing to work within a highly supportive staff team. If you would like further information regarding this exciting teacher of Science position please see the details below;

  • Full time teacher of English required from September 2019
  • Must hold QTS alongside subject specific equalisation within English

The incoming teacher of English can expect to join a secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcome. Having recently had a restructure within the senior leadership team, the school are now seeking a passionate teacher of English to join their staff team.

The responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the English department across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning
  • Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved

The secondary school is based in Derby and it is easily accessible for those living in the surrounding areas.
