“We are looking for an English teacher to join our team at the beginning of the new academic year. This will be to fulfil an upcoming maternity leave on a full time basis from 7th September. The appointed English teacher should be experienced in teaching both Language and Literature with the ability to teach both to GCSE level. We follow the AQA specification and so prior experience teaching this would be ideal but is not required.”

This English teaching role would suit an English specialist who is looking ahead to September and with the uncertainty in the education sector currently, could secure a long term teaching position. Any teachers due to be available from September, looking for a full time teaching role are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Highlights of this part time English teaching position:
- Pay will be dependent upon the successful teacher’s payscale but range on the main pay scale: GBP24,373 - GBP35,971 (pro rata)
- Full time English teaching position at a highly supportive secondary school in the Warrington area
- Monday 7th September start taking on a maternity cover for the entire academic year
- Co-educational secondary school located in the heart of Warrington
This secondary school is located in the heart of Warrington between St Helens and Trafford in Manchester. The school itself has fantastic facilities housed in a well presented, large building which has a presence within the local community. The local train station in Warrington is situated near to the school making it very easy for those travelling via public transport (short walk from the station). The school also has links with the M6 and M62 motorway networks.
The school is looking to shortlist English teachers over the course of the next few weeks prior to the summer holiday therefore arranging meetings and remote interviews in the next 4 weeks.
