English Teacher in Portsmouth!
Maternity cover for full time English teacher required for September role - in Secondary School located centrally
MPS/UPS considered - appointment will be made based on the right fit for the school
An opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of English to join a secondary school as a full time teacher for a maternity period. This role would begin in September and at this point is likley to last until Easter 2012. This is an open vacancy within the department which requires a talented English teacher who can deliver a high standard of learning to pupils from varying backgrounds (both culturally and socially). The successful applicant will be teaching English at Key Stages 3 & 4.
The School is currently undergoing building work to expand due to being consistantly oversubscribed. It receently has a new senior leadership team appointed to ensure attainment and conduct continues to improve.

- Full time position but part time or a role share would be considered

- Initial fixed term contract
- Currently graded "Good" by Ofsted
- State of the art facilities available throughout all Departments
The school is easily accessable via public transport and provides parking on site for those travelling by car. The school supports CPD to all staff including temporary and you will be invitied into the Academies programme to progress and develop whilst you are in a position within the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
