Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a vibrant secondary school environment? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an English Teacher. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum in accordance with the teacher pay scale from the first day of your placement.

This will be a full-time role, due to begin ASAP. This school in located in Gorton, it is an exciting and rewarding environment to work in as the school is currently undergoing changes to create vast changes to make improvements to the learning experience of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in behaviour management.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
