Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join one of our client schools in Gorton, starting in September 2024 with earlier start dates available dependent on your availability.

Throughout this role, you will be paid in line with your Teacher Pay Scale point, between £30,000 and £46,525 per annum.

Requirements:

  • For this role it is essential that you are a Fully Qualified English Teacher, ECTs will be considered for this role.
  • You must have a background in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will have the same responsibilities by the other permanent staff members including planning and marking.
  • This school does require strong behaviour management, it is essential that you are able to effectively manage the behaviour of the students to ensure that there is a productive and safe learning environment.
  • You will be required to work with other members of the department to discuss the curriculum and to collaborate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
