A school located close to Derby City centre is looking to recruit a fully qualified English teacher to join their school. The school are looking for someone with drive and passion for teaching who has a proven track record of delivering English through to KS4. Experience teaching English through to A Level would be an advantage but is not essential.
The school has an Ofsted grading of “Requires improvement" but the school are looking to improve upon this for their next Ofsted inspection, so you would be joining a progressing environment. Attainment and achievement have been a focus for the last few years and the number of students studying Maths and English do not yet exceed the national average but the school are hoping to secure this for their next inspection and take on board an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher of English who wants to support their current needs and help to turn the school around.
