English Teacher Required

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a full time Teacher of English for our client Secondary school based local to the Colchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, teaching and tracking pupil progress for the English department across Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 4. The role is to start in February 2021.

What you will require:

  • Relevant qualifications (PGCE/ QTS) or equivalent
  • A track record of demonstrating a strong ability to teach, plan and prepare lessons to Ofsted standards
  • A commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
  • A confident and positive approach to working with children
  • The ability to be a proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
  • A willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities
  • A current Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service or a DBS done through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
