 Job Opportunity: English Teacher – Secondary School, Chorley (Temp-to-Perm, Start January)

Are you an inspiring English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Chorley is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team from January on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

Subject: English (KS3 & KS4)

About the Role:
You’ll be part of a dynamic English department, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, raise attainment, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A creative and reflective approach to teaching
  • A team player with a commitment to student success
