Engineering Assessor required in Scarborough

  • Assessor required for an 'Outstanding' College in Scarborough
  • Competitive rates of pay* varying from £110 - £160 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Full Time position with the opportunity to gain a permanent contract

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a partnership School, to appoint two members of staff, ideally on a Full Time basis. The College has a lot of courses for students and apprentices that are looking to work in the Engineering and Construction Sectors. The College has recently relocated to a new campus with outstanding facilities. It is part of an institute, which in their most recent OFSTED inspection, has been graded as outstanding. Over the past few years the College has seen an increase in students applying and therefore there has been a higher demand of skills vocational tutors needed.

I am looking to appoint an Engineering Assessor, that can start on Monday 27th of November, or earlier if possible. The minimum requirements for this post are as follows:

•A qualification in Engineering

•Knowledge of the national apprenticeship curriculum

•Prior experience in delivering and/or assessing a vocational qualification

•A Child Only DBS that is registered to the Update Service, or one applied for through Teaching Personnel

•Be able to provide a 6 year career history and reference details
