Employability Skills Tutor and Manager

We are looking for a Part-Time Manager and Employability Skills Tutor for one of our partners providing education to NEET young people in Bradford. The site is based in Cheapside and delivers Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Employment to young people not in education, employment or training. This is a really exciting opportunity to work in a community of supportive staff and change the outcome of students' personal and professional lives. The right candidate could be enrolled permanently, after review.

You would be responsible for preparing resources for groups of 16 students, tracking and reporting their progress in NCFE Employability Skills. You would also work alongside a caseworker to support and mentor your students in a pastoral capacity. Training on how to manage your caseload will be provided on site. You would also have management responsibilities.
The right candidate will be asked to come for interview at the earliest opportunity!

Requirements:

  • (Essential) Qualified teacher and/or trainer of Employability Skills (NCFE).
  • (Desirable) Assessor Qualified e.g. TDLB Units D32/D33, A1/A2, Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Competence
  • English Specialist qualification at least to L3.
  • Literacy or Numeracy qualification minimum L2.
  • Experience of working in FE (Essential) and NEET students (Desirable).
  • Experience of working with students identified as having SEND (Desirable).
  • Management experience (Desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
