Teaching Assistant in Southwark for Early Years required.
Start before the spring half-term. Interviews ASAP! Full-time and long-term role!
One of our schools in Lewisham is recruiting for TA role that specialises in Early Years; this role is full-time and long-term. It is essential that you have relevant experience in working with the early years (3-6 years old). The school has an Ofsted rating of 'Good' and want to offer training to the successful candidate. The school is located a short 5-10 minute walk from Southwark station which has a direct route into central London stations. Surrounding areas also have good bus and train routes into the area.
Desirable experience required:
- Teaching Assistant with a large amount of school-based experience
- Early Years experience is preferred
- A graduate who is keen on developing their experience and skills
- Hard-working individual who wants to gain more experience within Primary Education
- Relevant qualifications - CACHE Level 3, HLTA or Degree
The ideal candidate would be someone who is:
- Confident in their ability to assist in Phonics
- Identify when 1:1 or group support with pupils is necessary
- Portray their passion for assisting the pupils to achieve their targets
- Build relationships and instil excellence into everyday practices
- Relevant experience within Teaching Assistant roles
- Graduates who are looking for a role within the Education Sector

Requirements:
- You must be able to interview and trial for longer term positions
- You must also be in possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one
