EYFS Teaching Assistant Required, Manchester Primary School, Old Trafford, M16

-          EYFS Teaching Assistant Required a FULL TIME position starting ASAP  

-          Knowledge  of the EYFS curriculum & prior experience supporting learning in the EYFS essential

-          ‘GOOD’ Primary School Close to Public Transport Links – competitive rates of pay dependant on experience

A client primary school in the Old Trafford area (M16) of Manchester are working alongside Teaching Personnel to recruit for an Early Years teaching assistant  to join their team on a full time basis starting in September. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in Nursery and Reception to assist with the delivering of all areas of the EYFS curriculum.  The successful candidate will be expected to deliver small group interventions in english, maths, reading and phonics, ensuring that their key children are reaching their expected levels. Candidates who have experience and are looking to work with children with SEN within the EYFS are also encouraged to get in touch as there are high levels of SEN with in the school.  

The role is to work in a larger than average, 2 form entry primary school which was graded ‘GOOD’ at its most recent OFSTED inspection. The school has been praised for high quality  teaching and academic development, boasting ‘excellent levels of progression’ through the EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a positive working attitude who will be dedicated to enhancing learning whilst committing to becoming part of this lovely schools community feel. The school are looking to recruit permanently for this position  so a school based contract may be possible for the right person.

To be considered, you will:

  • Have experience supporting learning across the EYFS  
  • Be dedicated to raising attainment for children in the early stages of their education
  • Have a compassionate and caring attitude towards supporting learning

The school can offer you the opportunity to work in a well supported, ‘GOOD’ primary school with dedicated EYFS practitioners. You will be offered continual support and may be required to stay on into the new academic year. The school focus strongly on continual development and consistently deliver a variety of training courses for staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
