Early Years Teacher- Westhoughton (BL5)
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a larger than averaged sized primary school in the Westhoughton area of Bolton (BL5). During their last OFSTED report in 2018 the school was graded as ‘GOOD’ overall. However, ‘outcomes for pupils’ do require improvement. This role is to start in September and will be a long-term placement covering maternity leave for 12 months.
Early Years Teacher - the ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- NQT, FQT or OTT
- Experience working within the EYFS
- UK eligibility to work
- Up to date professional childcare related references (within the last 6 years)
- Very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Good knowledge of Phonics programmes
- Have good maths and English abilities
- Experience working with SEN ideally

This school has a population of 325 pupils, which is larger than average. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils is below the national average, as is the proportion of pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities.
