Early Years SEN TA - Bradford

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for work in the Bradford area? Do you have experience working with children in nursery or reception?

One of our schools are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their Reception class. There are a few children in the class with statements but you will predominantly be supporting a pupil that is on the Autistic Spectrum and requires support within the classroom. Engaging the pupil in safe play and providing a nurturing support base will be important for them. The school like bubbly characters so don't be shy!

The hours will be 8:30-3:30pm on Monday to Friday. It will be a long term contract until the end of the academic year if successful.

To Be Successful

Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:

• Undergraduate Degree or Childhood Related Qualification
• At least 1 Year experience working with children (school based or other relevant)
• Sound knowledge of ASC and other Special Educational Needs.
• Some knowledge of the EYFS learning.
• Able to commit long term until the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
