Early Years, Reception and/or KS1 Teacher

Start Date: After February Half Term

Interview Date: Immediate (due to current circumstances this will take place over an online platform)

We are looking for a Early Years Teacher, Reception and/or KS1 Teacher to start full time in the Slough area from February half term. The schools require a Teacher with a UK QTS who has a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children with Autism, ADHD and Behavioural Needs. This can be in either a specialist school or mainstream school (nursery or primary). This role is also suited to NTQ’s looking to kick start a career in teaching.

These children will be working to an adapted curriculum. Therefore although academic support is key to the role the school place a huge emphasis on social skills  and independence.

Successful Candidates

  • Completed relevant qualifications – Batchelor of Education (Bed), BA/BSc with QTS, Degree in Teaching training, PGCE or SCITT.
  • Team Teach Trained (not essential as training can be provided)
  • Resilient and Patient
  • Keen to take on further development and training in the SEN field
  • Looking for career progression with the department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
