Early Years Practitioner - Hounslow - Full time - September 2020 start

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of teachers to work within schools based in Hounslow. With the current school closures schools have seen multiple changes in their permanent staff in the long term, this includes staff available for the new academic year. 

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Lead to work within a school in Hounslow, this Catholic school are a small two form entry ideally looking for someone to help mould and develop their early years department. 

The role?

As as Early Years Practitioner you will be working within a vast early years department, with many staff who are specialised in this area of work. You will be required to run group activities and support students with special educational needs. With a large class of 30 you will be provided with key children, conducting observations, running activities and sessions to monitor progression and provide feedback to parents/carers and other members of staff.

Within the class there are a number of students with special educational needs that will require additional support, you must be able to accomdate to their needs and work closely with the SENCO to provide a high quality of care and feedback.

This small two form entry school has a close knit community, teaching all staff and students to work together to teach inclusion and understanding cultural differences. As a Catholic school they adhere to both Ofsted and diocesan checks, being acknowledged for their commitment to a high educational standard. Being based in the heart of isleworth they have a range of students and staff from different backgrounds, creating activities and lessons around individual differences. 

The school is located in Isleworth, a 15 minute walk from Isleworth station - connected by multiple train and bus services. 

Ideal candidate? 

- Knowledge of the Catholic aspects of the curriculum

- Experienced Early Years pracititoner

- CACHE level 3 minimum 

- Confident with phonics and running phonics sessions

- Flexible working with students with a variety of needs
