Job description

Job Title: ECT Opportunities – Full-Time Supply Teaching Roles in Bolton (September Start)
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, with support and development included

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to build your experience and confidence in the classroom? We’re recruiting motivated and adaptable ECTs for full-time supply roles across primary and secondary schools in Bolton, starting this September. We also have TA opportunities available until the summer if you would like to start earlier and gain experience in schools prior to taking teaching roles.

This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, explore different school environments, and secure long-term placements that could lead to permanent positions. Our partner schools are supportive of ECTs and offer a welcoming environment where you can develop your teaching skills.

As a supply teacher, you’ll be delivering planned lessons, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils across a range of abilities. You’ll also benefit from exposure to different teaching styles, school cultures, and year groups – all of which are excellent preparation for securing a permanent role.

To be considered, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to work in the UK. You should also have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).

We offer competitive pay, opportunities for further development and your own dedicated recruitment consultant to support you from registration to placement and beyond!

To apply, please send across your CV for review and a consultant will be in touch ASAP.
