Early Career Teachers – Launch Your Teaching Career in Wigan

Location: Primary Schools across Wigan, including Leigh, Standish, Hindley, and Ashton-in-Makerfield
Start Dates: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexible Supply
Pay: In line with MPS/UPS

This is an excellent opportunity to experience a wide range of school settings, build your confidence, and gain valuable classroom practice as you take the next step in your teaching journey.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recently achieved or pending.
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 gained through placements.
  • A child-centred approach with a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum and behaviour management strategies.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Flexibility, professionalism, and a passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
