Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher looking for your next challenge in Key Stage 1? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in the WN4 area of Wigan to recruit a full-time Year 2 Teacher for the 2025/2026 academic year.

About the Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage assessments, focusing on progress and confidence.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and development.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values.
Ideal Candidate:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment expectations.
• Is a team player with excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
