As a Design and Technology teacher at Teaching Personnel's client school, you will be fully supported by a full time technician and vast array of state-of-the-art equipment as you teach both KS3 and KS4. At KS3, pupils are taught through a range of projects that are designed to introduce them to a variety of manufacturing skills, including the use of CAD/CAM facilities, as well as developing their appreciation of design within society and enhancing their problem solving skills. At KS4, pupils follow the AQA syllabus which will see them interacting with a full range of materials including electronics and textiles, and undertaking a range of projects utilising those materials.

Located close to the A523, the school is well serviced by public transport, so would be convenient to travel to whether you own your own transport or get to work on public transport.

The position is a full time role starting at the beginning of November 2019 and is a temporary to permanent role. There are regular CPD and career progression opportunities available, and you would be paid in line with your scale point MPS-UPS. This Design and Technology teacher role would be well suited to both experienced practitioners and newly qualified teachers.

To be eligible for this Design and Technology position you will need to be available for full time work, have QTS in the UK, suitable school-based references and be able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
