Catholic School in Ilford is seeking a DT Teacher - Starting in September.

The School

A brilliant, all girls' catholic school in the Ilford area is seeking a fully qualified DT Teacher to join their high achieving DT department. Teaching Personnel work with a large number of catholic schools across the Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster dioceses. All of which have a reputation for their fantastic behaviour and impressive exams results and this school in the Brentwood diocese is no exception! More details are as follows;

The Role and Requirements

The school is seeking a full time DT teacher to begin teaching from September. The school are looking for a candidate with a UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS), as well as experience as a DT teacher. No experience working in a catholic school is required, nor are there any religious requirements. This is an exciting position ideal for a DT teacher seeking a new position or change of scenery. The school are ideally seeking a DT Teacher that specialises in graphic design and resistance materials. The requirements for this role are;

  • You must possess a child workforce DBS on the updated service or be prepared to apply for one. (£44)
  • You will ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
  • A degree in DT or similar subject.
  • Have experience teaching DT to classes of 30 at KS3 and KS4. Including supervising practical tasks.
  • Have a passion for education and teaching DT.
