Vacancies open in an excellent Church of England Academy for girls aged 11-18. This fantastic school is located in the easily accessible London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The school is a good size with 614 students and 186 Sixth Form students along with a staff of 90. THE ROLE: Design and Technology Technician, working 5 days a week, set up work rooms as well as assisting students with the use of machinery and with projects. Open to graduates who have studied engineering, technology and design.

You will be required to provide support during lessons when pupils are using saws and other related machinery, as well maintaining stock rooms, cutting wood for practical sessions and cleaning equipment as per health and safety requirements.

Experience of working as a school DT technician would be an advantage, although applications will be accepted from anyone with relevant industry experience. You will be qualified in the use of saw and cutting machinery with an up to date knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

A can do/proactive attitude is also essential.
