Design and Technology Teacher

Salary:  MPS1- UPS2 (GBP25,714 - GBP40,124) dependent on experience

Hours: Term Time only - 40hrs per week- 8.30am-4.30pm

Role: Permanent Design and Technology Teacher for a large SEN school 

The School caters for primary and secondary pupils with communication and associated difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.  Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning. Note, the successful candidate is likely to only work in the secondary age range.

Essential experience:

• PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.

Desirable experience: 

• Experience of working in a special school environment and in particular with pupils with autism.

Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs
