Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a secondary school based in the Nottingham area and are currently looking to recruit a Design Technology Teacher from September 2019. This secondary school are seeking an experienced teacher for 4 days per week (Tuesday's off) to plan and mark KS3 Design and Technology and cover a Y13 Health and Social Care class.

Under the guidance of the Head Teacher and Governing Trust the school is seeking to appoint a resilient team player wishing to work within a highly supportive staff team. If you would like further information regarding this exciting teacher of Science position please see the details below;

  • Part time teacher of Design and Technology required from September 2019
  • Must hold QTS alongside subject specific equalisation within Technology
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS ÂŁ23, 720 - ÂŁ39, 406

The incoming teacher of Design and Technology can expect to join a secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcome. Having recently had a restructure within the senior leadership team, the school are now seeking a passionate teacher of Technology to join their staff team.

The responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the department across Key Stage 3
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning.
  • Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved

This secondary school is based in Nottingham, just north of the city and it is easily accessible for those living in the surrounding areas.
