Salary: £28,509 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the setting. You’ll play a key role in supporting our team and maintaining high standards of care and education.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Leading, motivating, and developing a team of Early Years Practitioners
-
Acting as a positive role model for both staff and children
-
Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all
-
Ensuring all requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) are met
-
Overseeing Health, Safety and Welfare standards within the nursery
-
Supporting the Nursery Manager in achieving maximum occupancy and quality provision
-
Monitoring children’s progress and ensuring smooth transitions through each stage of their development

Deputising for the Nursery Manager in their absence and carrying out additional duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and education

A confident leader who can inspire, support, and motivate a team

Flexible, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
-
Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
-
Knowledgeable in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
-
Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (desirable)
-
Holds an enhanced DBS check or is willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
