The students at this centre are often from deprived backgrounds, primarily with behavioural and learning difficulties, in addition to problems with their social, emotional and mental health.
The appropriate candidate will be able to show confidence and resilience when interacting with the students there. A background in criminology and previous relevant experience would be highly beneficial to your application too. The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be intervening when these difficulties arise and guiding the pupil accordingly to help them understand the causes and consequences of their actions.
Pay for this position ranges from £66.30 - £70 per day, with typical working hours being between 8:30am - 3:30pm.
