Job description
Are you interested in pursuing an exciting new role based in one of our Durham Secondary Schools?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of secondary schools who require short-term supply teachers to cover periods of staff absence and shortages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fully qualified teachers to gain valuable experience in a wide range of schools on a flexible basis. The job role will involve delivering lessons in accordance with provided lesson plans, as well as supporting pupils with the task and maintaining a controlled and safe learning space.
Teacher requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Cover supervisor roles available for candidates without QTS.
- Good knowledge of the current curriculum.
- Teaching experience in schools.
- Available 2-5 days a week.
- Able to travel to areas of Durham such as Chester-le-Street, Houghton and Central Durham

- £120 - £150 daily rate (dependent on pay scale)
- Paid weekly through PAYE, no agency fees or umbrella company

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
