The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring learning continues during teacher absences by supervising classes and delivering pre-planned lessons.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students to stay engaged and focused
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff
  • Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement
