Full time Cover Supervisor Role in Local Fleet Secondary School
The school which is based in the Hampshire town of Fleet, an area going through significant developments in Hampshire is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join them in September on a full time, permanent basis. The school are looking to enhance their support team across their secondary phases and in order to achieve this, they need an ambitious individuals who are passionate about teaching, learning. The school are currently looking to grow from 1200 to 1500 pupils and due to this have an increased capacity and need for support staff within their school.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is highly rewarding however can on occasion be a challenging role. The school are keen to receive applications from people with pre existing experience in education, graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching or experienced teaching assistants who are looking to progress in their career.
This role is seen as a senior support role and pay can be upwards of £70 daily.
Skills and experience you will need in order to be successful in the role:
- Supportive, patient and non-judgemental
- Positive, flexible and encouraging
- Good communicator who is able adapt their style to sensitively meet the needs of all learners
- Have a good presence, a level of confidence and a sense of humour
- GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent functional skills in English and Maths
- Understand how children develop, think and learn
- Experience in managing groups of children in different environments
