Cover Supervisor
Manchester

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to provide cover supervision in the short term absence of teachers at our client school in Manchester. The successful candidate will work in partnership with colleagues and Teachers to ensure that a secure effective learning environment is maintained throughout all lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will join our client school in the new academic year 19/20 and will work on a full time basis covering lessons across a range of age groups and learning abilities. As a cover supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering pre set work to whole classes in the short term absence of teaching, ensuring that student behaviour and learning in upheld throughout all lessons.

We are looking for someone who is professional, friendly, firm and fair with students and will act a positive role models for students across all year groups. Successful applicants will be supported by our client schools Senior Leadership Team who are focused on ensuring the best Teaching and Learning throughout school.

  • Full time role commencing in the new academic year 19/20.
  • Introduction to a lively and exciting school in central Manchester.
  • Weekly pay of up to £300 per week.
  • Ideal role unqualified teachers or enthusiastic graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching and wish to gain paid school based experience.

Our client school is located in central Manchester and has over 1000 pupils on roll. The school has an inner city catchment area providing education for a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Due to its inner city location, the school has excellent connections to universities, employers and a number of fantastic opportunities. This is an exciting time to join our client school as it embarks on its journey towards becoming an Outstanding school.

The school is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the school also has a large car park accessible for all staff members.
