Cover Supervisor – Yateley – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary | Suitable for Graduates & Unqualified Teachers

Are you a graduate or aspiring teacher looking to gain practical classroom experience? Teaching Personnel are supporting a well-organised secondary school in Yateley who are seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to start in January 2026.

This role is perfect for graduates and unqualified teachers seeking hands-on experience in a school environment. You will supervise classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain focused, engaged, and on task throughout the school day.


The Role:

  • Supervise classes following pre-prepared work in a variety of subjects
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Support learners of differing abilities and report on classroom progress
  • Ensure lessons run smoothly during teacher absences
  • Follow school policies regarding behaviour, safeguarding, and learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Graduates or unqualified teachers eager to gain practical classroom experience
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Confident working with secondary-aged students (11–16)
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
