Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are working closely with secondary schools in Andover who are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to start from January 2026.

This role is perfect for graduates and unqualified teachers who are considering a career in education or looking to gain valuable classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising lessons during teacher absences using pre-prepared work.

You will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils to stay engaged, on task, and working to expectations in a structured and supportive environment.

The Role of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise whole classes using pre-set lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students across a range of abilities
• Ensure a calm, focused, and productive learning environment
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
