Cover Supervisor – Multiple Secondary Schools – Stockport

Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Flexible, full-time or part-time
Location: Stockport
Salary: £89 – £110 per day (dependent on experience and length of booking)

We are recruiting several Cover Supervisors to work in our client schools across the Stockport area from the start of the new academic year. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced youth workers, or teaching assistants looking to take the next step in their education career.

Role Overview:

  • Supervise whole-class lessons during teacher absence using pre-prepared resources

  • Ensure students remain on task and uphold the school’s behaviour policy

  • Act as a positive role model, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff after cover sessions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Confident, professional and resilient individuals

  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting the education of young people

  • Previous experience working with students aged 11–16 is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
