Cover Supervisor

£90 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow the lesson plans provided by the teacher and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Manage student behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere
  • Assist students with their work and provide guidance when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Education:

Minimum of A-levels or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a classroom and engage with students effectively
  • Organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Basic understanding of educational principles

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours are typically during school hours
  • May require standing for extended periods
  • Fast-paced environment with varying tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
