Cover Supervisors – Secondary Schools (Bolton, Salford & Bury)

Start Date: February 2026 onwards
Contract: Flexible

Are you confident, adaptable, and looking for a rewarding role in education? We are seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Bolton, Salford, and Bury from February 2026 onwards.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support pupils with their learning and answer questions where possible.
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
