Cover Supervisor – Pathway into Teaching (Bolton Schools)

Location: Bolton
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: Competitive daily rates

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Cover Supervisor across our partner secondary schools in Bolton, providing the perfect stepping stone into a teaching career.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher.

  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils remain on task.

  • Support students with their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.

  • Gain valuable experience across a variety of subjects and year groups.

  • Develop behaviour management and classroom leadership skills essential for teaching.

  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, youth work, sports coaching) is advantageous.
