Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in Wigan

Are you looking to gain classroom experience in supportive, high-performing schools? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding secondary schools in Wigan.

With a high demand for daily and long-term cover, this is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or experienced education professionals looking to build valuable school-based experience.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4

  • Gain exposure to a variety of subject areas and school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
