About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Alton, starting in September 2024. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, allowing you to choose the working hours that best suit your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your key duties will include maintaining classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment, and upholding school behaviour policies. This role is vital in ensuring that students continue to learn effectively in the absence of their regular teachers.

This position is ideal for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are eager to gain valuable classroom experience and make a difference in the education of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Supervise students during lessons and support their educational progress.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other classroom and school duties as required.

Requirements:

  • UK residency (this advert is only open to UK residents).
  • A strong passion for education and working with young people.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to cover various subjects and year groups.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.
