Cover supervisors are needed to work in schools throughout the Tyne and Wear region, to cover absent teachers and support staff for the day. Cover supervisors take on the role of absent teachers delivering pre set work ensuring students remain on take following the schools behaviour policies.

Cover supervisors will need to have some for of experience working in the education sector, youth work, health and social care or sports coaching. Cover supervisors can work on a part time, full time flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to work in a secondary school before starting a teacher training programme.

Cover supervisors will be given access to Teaching Personnel's CPD academy with regular training courses. Teaching Personnel work in partnership with secondary schools throughout Northumberland with specific demand in Ashington.

Teaching Personnel are looking for cover supervisors to provide regular and local supply to work with students across KS3 and KS4.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
