Core subject grads required for General KS1 role- North Manchester

A large primary school in North Manchester have come to Teaching Personnel in search of a core subject graduate to start as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year within KS1. School based experience isn’t a necessity as full training will be given. The attributes required are enthusiasm, pro-activeness and a passion for helping children progress. As part of the role you will be expected to take small intervention groups and deliver pre-planned work to the group of mixed ability pupils. This will require confidence as well as a good understanding of behaviour management. The school is a good school with a strong staff team and a good mix of experience throughout the Teaching Assistant team. As this is a two form entry school there is a high number of staff and each class currently have a general Teaching assistant within it as well as certain classes having Teaching Assistants providing 1:1 support. The reason the school are looking for a core subject graduate is to ensure progression is made throughout KS1 but also so there is a real specialist within the certain subjects to be able to get the most out of the pupils.
