Computer Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Cornwall who require a Teacher of Computer Science.

The school are of average size and have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is strong leadership in place and clear plans for future improvements and progression.

The school are looking for a Teacher of Computer Science to join them on a full time basis, starting in January 2018, for a minimum of 2 terms. A permanent position could be available for the right candidate.

To be successful in this role, you will have QTS, or be an NQT with strong subject knowledge. You will have experience (either in employment or placement) of teaching the Computer Science curriculum to KS3 and KS4. You will be able to work autonomously and able to plan your own lessons and work effectively. You will also pride yourself on working to high standards and instil a sense of pride in the students about their work and accomplishments.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
