Chorley SEN School requires TA!

Chorley SEN School is seeking a Teaching Assistant for an immediate start!!

The School caters for KS1-KS4 pupils who have a range of needs including; Physical Disabilities, SEMH Difficulties, Autism, PMLD, ADHD and Downs Syndrome. The School also have a hydrotherapy pool so ideally the successful candidate will be comfortable in the water. The School is smaller than average and class sizes tend to be under 8 per class.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN including; Autism and Physical Disabilities. The candidate must be willing to work with a range of age groups and be confident when dealing with pupils who display challenging behaviours through their frustrations.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
