Job description

Care Worker – Full Time

One of our partnership schools are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.

Our school supports children with high levels of need, and we are looking for someone with a caring nature, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive. The successful candidate will provide vital personal care and support to our students, ensuring their well-being and comfort throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner

  • Supporting children with high levels of need throughout the school day

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment

  • Demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding at all times

  • Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Requirements:

  • A caring and patient approach to working with vulnerable children

  • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks

  • Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
