SEN Teaching Assistant –
Location:Royston
Salary: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

Role Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in kettering. You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEN
- Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes
- Assist the class teacher with daily activities
- Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
Who We're Looking For
Experience in a school setting is not required – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about working with children.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with SEN children (desirable, not essential)
- Be committed, patient, and reliable
- Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must
- Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)
- Have permanent UK residency – essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
