Business Teacher - Secondary - £90 - £140 - Nottingham

Are you a dynamic Business Teacher looking to join a high achieving Secondary School in Nottingham? Would you be interested in a long term role at a school that truly believes in investing in their staff?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Teacher to join a Department that is successful with good GCSE and A Level results within a successful Secondary School in the Nottingham area. There are 3 options for students to follow; either AQA GCE Economics; AQA GCE Business; or BTEC Level 3 Business.

The Academy has gained a reputation for high levels of academic achievement, demonstrated by the fact that the 2016 results at GCSE and A-level are the best on record. They have a positive ethos and excellent staff/student relationships, they value their staff and are committed to their personal and professional development.

This school is a popular 11-18 school which exists to serve the local community through innovative teaching and a broad and comprehensive curriculum. The leadership of the school has resulted in the school being, "well-placed to move forward and we are committed to improving the educational outcomes of young people. We are a community school where "pupils are cared for well" and "are helped to overcome social and personal challenges".

  • An innovative and enthusiastic Business teacher with a range of teaching experiences
  • An outstanding teacher who combines a range of innovative teaching strategies and excellent relationships with young people
  • Someone who looks for ways to improve themselves and the school and is not afraid of taking responsibility beyond their own area

The successful candidate for this role will have a previous track record of helping students to access the curriculum and be committed to developing your teaching. The school offer continued professional development and progression opportunities in return for hard work.
