Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum 
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

As our Supply Business Manager, you’ll bridge strategic business operations and school support, empowering schools to focus on teaching and learning:

• Financial & Supplier Management: Set and manage budgets, forecast, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement to deliver cost-effective solutions.
  

• Operations & Logistics: Ensure smooth logistics—manage inventory, supplies, and relationships with service providers.

• Team Leadership & HR: Lead and support school support staff, including admin, site teams, and catering.

• Facilities & Compliance: Oversee premises management, Health & Safety, and external contractor liaison.

• Strategic Planning: Contribute to school improvement plans and report on KPIs to senior leadership.
  

You’ll Have

• Proven experience in business/operations management—ideally in education or a similar sector.

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, procurement, and reporting.

• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, adaptable approach with strong organisational ability.

• Familiarity with Health & Safety and compliance in school environments is highly desirable.

• A relevant qualification in Business, Finance, or equivalent; diploma in SBM or membership of NASBM is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
